Shortlist

Taplio alternatives, including where it wins.

We make one of the four tools below, so read this with that in mind — it's marked. Everything about the others comes from their own sites, checked on 25 August 2026, with links so you can verify it.

Start with the honest bit: if you use Taplio's lead database for prospecting, none of these replaces it. Cancel on that basis and you'll miss it within a week.

Why people go looking in the first place

It assumes you know what to post

A library of other people's posts and a scheduler both help you publish more. Neither tells you what you should be publishing about, which is where most people are actually stuck.

You're paying for prospecting you don't use

The lead database is a large part of what you're buying. If you're building authority rather than working outbound lists, you're funding a feature you never open.

The entry price is the whole price

Plans start at $39 a month, as published on taplio.com. For a solo consultant testing whether consistent posting works at all, that's a real monthly decision.

Seven days isn't long enough to tell

LinkedIn results build over weeks of publishing, not days. A week-long trial ends before you have enough posts to judge anything.

Four alternatives worth your time

Different jobs, not four versions of the same thing. Match the tool to what's actually stopping you publishing.

Two accounts running a VaaniCraft strategy — one that spiked, one that compounded. Both reached most of their audience beyond the people already following them.

Before you switch

What is Taplio best at?
Volume and engagement. The post library, the scheduler and the Chrome extension are built for people who already know their positioning and need to publish and engage consistently. Its lead database is genuinely useful if prospecting is part of your day — and none of the tools on this page replaces it.
Which alternative is cheapest?
Of the ones that publish a price, VaaniCraft starts at £19 a month and Postiz at $29. Supergrow and AuthoredUp don't list pricing on their homepages, so check theirs directly before comparing.
Can I move my existing content across?
Your posts stay on LinkedIn regardless of which tool you use, so nothing is stranded. What doesn't move is scheduled drafts and saved templates — export anything you'd miss before you cancel.
Do I have to pick just one?
No, and plenty of people don't. A common split is a strategy tool for deciding and drafting, plus a browser extension for formatting inside LinkedIn. Paying twice only makes sense if each is doing a job the other genuinely can't.
How current is this page?
Everything here was checked against each product's own site on 25 August 2026. Products change and we can't watch all of them — if something is out of date, tell us and we'll correct it.

Fifteen days, no card — long enough to publish a few weeks of posts and see whether a plan changes anything.
